Sellers are firm; prices move up

Cepea, August 6, 2025 – Prices for both anhydrous and hydrous ethanol rose more significantly in the last week of July in São Paulo state. Besides the fact that the production mix is higher for sugar and the smaller ethanol production, sellers were firm, asking for higher quotations.   Between July 28 and August 1st, the CEPEA/ESALQ Index for hydrous ethanol closed at BRL 2
