September ends with price increases across the entire cattle chain

Cepea, October 2, 2026     CATTLE – After the volatility observed in August, September ended with consecutive price increases throughout the cattle chain, reflecting the lower supply of feedlot animals ready for slaughter during this off-season, the improvement in export volumes compared to the previous month and expectations for the resumption of Chinese purchases.   The CEPEA/ESALQ fed cattle Index (São Paulo State) rose 5.78% in September (from August 31 to September 30), closing at BRL 364
