2026/27 arabica harvest nears completion, but pace remains behind 2025

Cepea, September 1st, 2026 – The 2026/27 arabica coffee harvest was nearing completion in most Brazilian producing regions in late August, with activities advancing at a faster pace in the previous weeks, favored by the dry weather. Still, the pace remained behind that observed in the same period last year, when harvesting had already been completed in most regions, according to market participants surveyed by Cepea. The delay resulted from above-average rainfall during the winter, which also impaired the cup quality of the lots
