Due to uncertainties, only a few contracts are closed

Cepea, August 18, 2025 – In mid-August, citrus growers were still waiting for a consistent behavior of the industry in order to close contracts involving 2025/26 oranges. Only a few contracts of small volumes have been closed up to the first fortnight of August.   The industry continues adjusting values in the spot market and players seem to prefer to have eyes on supply and demand before defining new deals
